The Myanmar Union Attorney General called on Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam on 2 May 2013. Minister Shanmugam and Attorney General Tun Shin reaffirmed the warm and longstanding bilateral ties between Singapore and Myanmar, and discussed various legal development and cooperation efforts under the Singapore-Myanmar Technical Cooperation Programme. The call was preceded by a briefing on the role and functions of the Ministry of Law hosted by Permanent Secretary (Law) Dr Beh Swan Gin.
