Appointment of new Chief Executive, Singapore Land Authority

Mr Colin Low Hsien Yang (刘显扬) will be appointed as the Chief Executive of the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) from 12 April 2021. He succeeds Mr Tan Boon Khai, who was appointed as Chief Executive of JTC on 1 September 2020. Mr Simon Ong Hung Eng, Deputy Chief Executive of SLA, will relinquish his appointment as Acting Chief Executive of SLA on 12 April 2021.

Mr Low, 44, has about 20 years of experience in investment and corporate business development, covering the hospitality, retail and other real estate asset classes in the private sector. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Hospitality Trust, a hospitality real estate investment trust listed on SGX. Prior to this, he was Head of Hotel Investment Properties for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at CBRE Hotels, based in London. Mr Low graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
